How do I install ScamSniff?

Click the "Install Free" button on our homepage or visit the Chrome Web Store. The installation takes about 10 seconds.

How do I use ScamSniff?

After installation, pin the extension to your toolbar. When you open a conversation on LinkedIn, Facebook Messenger, or Telegram Web, click the scan button (or enable auto-scan for Pro users) to analyze messages.

What platforms are supported?

Currently, ScamSniff works on LinkedIn, Facebook Messenger, and Telegram Web. More platforms are coming soon.

Is ScamSniff free?

Yes, ScamSniff has a free plan with manual scanning and 5 scans per day. Pro plans offer automatic scanning and higher limits for $4.99/month.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Visit our Pricing page and click "Upgrade to Pro". You can also upgrade directly from the extension popup.',

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Chrome Web Store subscription settings. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.

Does ScamSniff read all my messages?

Free users must manually click "Scan" to analyze messages. Pro users can enable automatic scanning, which analyzes conversations as you browse. We do not store full chat text.

What if ScamSniff gives a false positive?

ScamSniff is an awareness tool, not a guarantee. It may occasionally flag safe messages as suspicious. Always use your own judgment. If you encounter issues, please report them through our feature requests page.
